Coach Rimmer brings to the newly formed Concord 2001 birth year Girls Red team the accomplishments, experience and coaching style desired to move this group of talented and committed girls forward in this challenging birth year age group change.  With over 25 years experience coaching at area club teams and at the USSF ODP and college level, he is well prepared to lead this team of rising 9th and 10th grade players who previously played for the u14 Concord Independence.

"I am looking forward to coaching for the club in the community which I reside" notes Bill.  "After discussing this great opportunity with Bob and Mark Peipher, I am looking forward to forming this new team that is built on a special group of players".

Also announced is Mark Peipher will work with Bill as an Assistant Coach to the 2001 team.  Providing transition for the current players onto the 2001 team.  Coach Peipher will continue on as the coach for the 2002 birth year girls team.  A role he has had with the current Concord Independence since their formation in 2009.  "I welcome Bill to Concord Soccer and am excited to work with him as he leads our premier girls representative team.  During our discussions,  Bill's knowledge, passion, and competitiveness were evident.  Most encouraging was how this opportunity is a great fit for our players.  With us working together across the 2001 and 2002 birth year groups we can continue our success with developing players and teammates who love the game of soccer and contribute to our community." 

The new Concord 2001 and 2002 Girls birth year teams welcome interested new players and former players to our tryouts and to meet our coaching staff and current players.  The Concord Girls 2001 and 2002 birth year tryouts will be held Wednesday May 4th and Thursday May 12th from 6-7:30 at the Concord Soccer Complex.  Pre-registration is required for tryouts and can be done so online at www.concordsoccer.com.
